About True Diamond Great Danes
Hello, my name is Destiny. Welcome to my home here at True Diamond Great Danes. My family has been breeding intelligent, loving, loyal great dane puppies for 30+ years.

My "Mom" & "Dad" bought their first great dane, Corky, in southern California in 1973. It actually was my Dad's idea to get that first great dane puppy... he didn't know what he had started. Great Danes are like potato chips or pairs of shoes — you can't have just one. In 1975 my parents left southern California for "God's Country" — that's Wisconsin for those of you who don't know. 4 great danes + 2 kids + 2 parents and an orange Mazda station wagon = one priceless cross-country trip.

My parents bred their first litter of great dane puppies in 1976. That litter of 14 pups, began to lay the foundation of our future.

Now, you may be asking yourself, "Destiny, where did you come in?" I was just getting to that.

Years later, my mom was at a dog show and saw a beautifully regal great dane dog in the veteran's class named Havoc. She said, "I would love to have one of his pups!" Can you believe just 2 weeks later Mom was on our doorstep in Chicago. It MUST be "destiny". I had my name and Mom had her Havoc puppy.

Great danes are dignified, powerful, smoothed-muscled dogs with a majesty possessed by no other breed. We are kind, gentle giants who make awesome family companions. A great dane puppyis not for everyone nor every home but for the right person or family a great dane will be the most rewarding companion — the most magnificent addition to your family.

When considering a Great Dane Puppy always remember there Is nothing small about a great dane. From intelligence, elegance and affection to strength, temperament and spirit great danes are super-sized. So can be the food and vet bills. New owners are encouraged to attend training classes with their great dane puppy and keep in mind that you will "reap what you sow" in your pup. If you play aggressively with your great dane puppy and encourage him to bark often and eat from your plate — you may some day have a 180 lb dog who barks at and jumps on visitors and eats off of your kitchen counter or dining room table. Though it maybe cute now... it might not be later.

Enjoy your visit here at True Diamond Great Danes!
